Growing Up So Quickly

Well, little Catriona isn’t so little anymore! She will be 5 months old on Tuesday and is now just over 15 lbs! She is in love with many things, Mommy and Daddy being the top of the list! She loves to go in the Jolly Jumper (she’s a two footed jumper), hearing silly songs from either parent, playing in the mirror (especially with her father!), and new as of yesterday, playing with her toes! She starting rolling from her tummy to her back in December, and still doesn’t roll the other way, though she just rolled onto her side today! We are spoiled by her night time sleep and her naps are even getting better (in fact, she’s asleep right now, I’m not neglecting her!). Today, a big milestone, she sat up by herself for 5 seconds and I even got a picture!!

She also loves spending time with her grandparents and great grandparents. What a lucky girl she is! Her great grandparents even took us out for lunch last week. Her Grandma and Grandpa Currie will soon be home from a month long trip to Florida, so we are all excited to see them again!

Her baptism has been booked for the 29th of March and it will be held in the church where we were married, which will be very nice.

We are trying to keep Flickr updated with pictures showing how beautiful she is becoming and trying to show the new things she’s trying (like a sippy cup this week!). Still no solid food (other than the things her Grandma lets her have – a carrot to suck on this week!), but I’m sure that will be upon us sooner than we know it!
